Neal Kerins is Vice President, Product Development, for John Hancock Insurance. In this position he is responsible for all aspects of John Hancock’s product portfolio and plays a key role in setting business strategy. Under his leadership, the Product Development team has transformed New Business financial performance by creating a portfolio that offers attractive value for all stakeholders. At the foundation of this dynamic portfolio is Vitality - a groundbreaking program that helps customers live longer, healthier, better lives.
In his previous role as Assistant Vice President of U.S. Insurance Product Management at John Hancock, Mr. Kerins led a team of product managers, specialists, and actuaries to generate ideas, obtain leadership buy-in on their recommendations, and drive development of new insurance products that supported the strategic business objectives. As a leader, Neal is passionate about developing winning strategies and collaborating with technical staff to find creative solutions to difficult challenges.
Before joining John Hancock, Mr. Kerins held a series of marketing and product management roles at New England Life. He has a bachelor's degree in both Management Science and Philosophy from the University of New York at Geneseo, and holds Series 7 and 24 securities registrations.
